Dear You

You are your story, but your story is constantly being written.

Change the ending, change the tone, never change YOU.

Remember that.

It has always been vital for me to share my story, all of it.

My story has "the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful."

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

I still remember my OBGYN joking about not needing to tell me about the possibility of a slow-growing pregnancy because it was extremely rare.

Guess what- I ended up being that extremely rare.

Extremely rare still means it happens.

And guess what - for something to become a statistic or for data to occur, someone needs to be the first.

If October is a hard month, know you are not alone.

Know that you are not alone if you feel unheard, misunderstood, or generally confused.

You are not alone, even when you feel like the only tree without a leaf in a forest full of beautiful colors.

Your story has made YOU who you are today.

Keep writing it until you are happy with the story, change the ending and tone, but never change yourself.
