Thank you to those in the ALS community who shared their story, advocated, and fought alongside Biogen and Ionis to get Qalsody FDA-approved!

The SOD-1 gene is mutated in up to 20% of familial ALS cases, and this approval is the first drug to treat a genetic form of ALS.

There are now 4 ALS therapies available, proving that people are listening to the community. I cannot thank everyone enough for sharing and proving that rare does not always mean rare, but devasting ALWAYS means heartbreaking.

This is big! 4 is big! But this is still just the start of the future of a better tomorrow! We are coming for you, ALS; we are far from backing down.
